Aspect Estate in Gympie has enjoyed a similar response to Hamilton Place in the market with 30 lots in Stage 3 completely selling out before construction commenced, last month.
Aspect Estate developer and Double R Group Director, Ken Reed said interest from the market continues to outperform all projections.
“We released Stage 4 at the beginning of August and sold out within five weeks — these are once again unprecedented results and clearly demonstrate the high demand for regional land,” Mr Reed said.
“Aspect offers generous 600sqm lots from $169,000 which in markets like the Sunshine Coast, Caboolture and Brisbane is unheard of. Much of the Sunshine Coast is now unaffordable for first-time home owners and young families, forcing them to explore further afield to secure a property that still gives them a great quality of life, without the crippling financial burden.
“The recent property boom on the Sunshine Coast is not the only reason that some are making the move away from the coastline, there are also many people who have long called the Coast home but are now looking to move further inland to avoid the increasing congestion and a higher population density.”
Ray White Gympie Principal Clancy Adams said it’s exciting to see the estate start to take shape.
“Space is at an absolute premium across South East Queensland and Aspect’s lots range from 629m2 to 1,839m2, now that construction has commenced you can quite literally see the appeal,” Mr Adams said.
“We are finding a lot of buyers are owner-occupier rather than investors, they’ve jumped at the opportunity to build a home they love, in a welcoming estate with tree-lined streets, and the perfect environment to enjoy the relaxed outdoor Queensland lifestyle.”
